Stability in Gold Prices: Update from myRepublica

Gold Prices Remain Unchanged in Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 5: The price of gold remained unchanged in the domestic market today.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 135,400 per tola, while standard gold is currently traded at Rs 134,750 per tola, the same prices as of Friday.

Silver Prices See a Decrease

On the other hand, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 5 per tola and is being traded at Rs 1,640 per tola on Sunday.

Insight:

While gold prices have remained stable, it is worth noting that the price of silver has experienced a slight decrease. This may indicate a shift in market trends or investor preferences. Investors often monitor the prices of both gold and silver as they are considered to be safe-haven assets during times of economic uncertainty or market volatility.
