In a surprising turn of events, gold prices in the domestic market saw a decrease of Rs 100 per tola on Wednesday, much to the relief of buyers and investors.
Currently, fine gold is being traded at Rs 118,200 per tola, as opposed to the previous day’s rate of Rs 118,300 per tola.
Additionally, standard gold is now being traded at Rs 117,650 per tola, down from Rs 117,750 per tola on Tuesday.
The decrease in prices was not limited to gold, as the price of silver also saw a decline of Rs 5 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs 1,380 per tola the day before, is now being sold at Rs 1,375 per tola.
