Gold Prices Take a Dip
KATHMANDU, June 2: The price of gold, which had previously soared to all-time highs, has declined by Rs 200 per tola on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of gold for Sunday has been set at Rs 142,000 per tola, down from Rs 142,200 per tola on Friday.
Insight:
The decrease in gold prices could be attributed to a temporary lull in demand or stabilization in the market following a peak. Investors may be evaluating their positions and making strategic decisions based on prevailing economic conditions.
Similarly, the price of standard gold has also decreased to Rs 141,300 per tola today.
Silver Prices Decline
Meanwhile, silver prices have been on a downward trend for three consecutive days. Compared to Friday, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 25 per tola. On Sunday, silver is being traded at Rs 1,850 per tola, down from Rs 1,875 per tola on Friday.
Insight:
The decrease in silver prices may be indicative of broader market trends affecting precious metals. Silver often follows gold in terms of price movements, so a decline in gold prices could also influence silver prices.
