Gold Price Increases in Domestic Market
KATHMANDU, May 12: The price of gold has increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday. Fine gold is being traded at Rs 138,400 per tola today, compared to Rs 137,900 per tola on Friday. Similarly, the price of standard gold, which was fixed at Rs 137,250 per tola, is now set at Rs 137,750 per tola.
Silver Price Decreases
In contrast, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola and the metal is now traded at Rs 1,725 per tola.
International Market Trends
In the international market, the price of gold has also witnessed an increase. On Sunday, gold rose to $2,360.48 per ounce, compared to $2,353.41 per ounce on Friday. However, the price of silver has slightly decreased. On Sunday, silver reached $28.18 per ounce, down from $28.38 per ounce on Friday.
