KATHMANDU, Jan 15: The price of gold in the Nepali market has risen by Rs 300 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations. The price of fine gold is now fixed at Rs 119,500 per tola and standard gold at Rs 118,950 per tola. This marks an increase from the previous day’s prices of Rs 119,200 per tola for fine gold and Rs 118,650 per tola for standard gold.
In addition, the price of silver has been set at Rs 1,420 per tola today.
The Federation determines the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on a daily basis, based on the rates in the international market.
