KATHMANDU, Dec 24: The price of gold in the domestic market has increased by Rs 100 per tola on Sunday. Fine gold is now being sold at Rs 119,900 per tola, up from Rs 119,800 per tola on Friday. The price of standard gold has also seen an increase, trading at Rs 119,350 per tola today compared to Rs 119,250 on Friday.
On the other hand, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola, with it being traded at Rs 1,475 per tola today, down from Rs 1,485 per tola on Friday.
This fluctuation in the prices of precious metals can be attributed to various factors such as market demand, global economic conditions, and geopolitical events. Investors often turn to gold and silver as safe-haven assets during times of uncertainty, which can in turn affect their prices in the market.
